I always appreciate hearing from readers of my books. Here's a photo taken by a friend who recently read The Crossing Ward. Thanks Leigh Ann for the encouraging words and the picture.

The Crossing Ward discussion at Book Club - Jackson Mississippi
Just wanted to say a word of thanks to the book club review of my novel The Crossing Ward. We had an excellent discussion about the characters, plot, and the process of development of The Crossing Ward. I appreciated their kindness and affirmation of my novel! Note the pic:

Reviews of The Crossing Ward
As an author, I know that reviews have a significant impact upon book sales, or at the least, peaking someone's interest in a possible purchase. Since the book was released earlier this year, I've not had time to initiate a marketing plan or promote it - after all, I do have a full-time day job that I love - but I hope to turn some attention to doing so very soon.
With the first few readers, though, I began to receive some positive responses and then a few reviews on Amazon popped up. Click here to go to the REVIEWS. I appreciate the reviews and the good words and I thought they might be helpful to others as they are considering "The Crossing Ward."
Thanks,
Mark

The Crossing Ward
Just a quick update on my latest fiction project: The Crossing Ward. It's nearing completion and to give a quick snapshot of the theme of the book, here's some of the copy text for the book jacket:
The Fourth Floor of the Regional Hospital
is known as the Crossing Ward. It’s a
place where people go to die, but what if terminally ill patients are dying
faster than expected in a startling trend? What if some of the patients are
having visitations – is it an angel of death or the presence of the Lord
himself? Brody Cademan, a former pastor, has found himself in the middle of a
murder mystery, and he is thrust into a ministry for those who are dying – but
he struggles to give them hope when he no longer believes in heaven, himself. Tragedy and grief have destroyed his faith.
But a new relationship, and a new focus could reignite his belief in a God who
really cares.
